President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-In-Chief Ilham Aliyev has today attended a ceremony of presentation of a war flag to the Ministry of Emergency Situations' civil defense troops.
The presentation ceremony was held at a military unit of civil defense forces.
Minister of Emergency Situations, colonel-general Kamaladdin Heydarov reported to the Head of State.
President Ilham Aliyev laid flowers at a monument to the national leader Heydar Aliyev here. Commander of the civil defense forces, major general Ilham Abdullayev reported to the Supreme Commander-In-Chief. President Aliyev greeted the soldiers of the military unit.
Then, Aliyev presented a war flag to the civil defense forces. The national anthem of Azerbaijan was played at the event. President Ilham Aliyev made a speech at the event. President Ilham Aliyev familiarized himself with the military unit after its reconstruction.
