The OSCE will have special representative for protracted conflicts during Lithuania's OSCE Presidency in 2011.
Lithuanian Giedrius Cekuolis has been appointed to the post. Prior to this appointment, Cekuolis was secretary at the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry. Lithuania will take over OSCE Chairmanship on January 1, 2011.
