Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense Industry plans to realize new projects for the provision of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense Industry Yaver Jamalov said, APA reports.
“New projects envisage production of missiles, various supplies, grenade throwers and small arms. The program has already been submitted to President,” he said.
Yaver Jamalov said Azerbaijani facilities started producing practice and battle supplies, mines, remote mine thrower, sniper’s weapons, crawler belts, Matador and Marauder armored vehicles. Armored infantry vehicles are being modernized.
Yaver Jamalov said the Ministry of Defense Industry will participate in four international exhibitions next year and added that as a result of the talks held with the relevant bodies, one of the universities will train personnel for the ministry.
