New director has been appointed to the Azerbaijan representation of Asian Development Bank. According to ADB’s Baku office Indonesian citizen Olly Norojono was appointed director of bank’s Azerbaijan representation in accordance to decision of ADB Council of Directors.
Norojono was a former Senior Transport Economist Central and West Asia Department Asian Development Bank. He is expected to visit Azerbaijan on November 18. Note that the director of ADBs Azerbaijan representation was Matthew Westfall in 2004-2006. Philip Chang was executive director in 2006-2007. Azerbaijan has been a member of ADB since 1999. Bank’s loan portfolio on 14 projects realized in Azerbaijan made $ 660.4 mln.
