Azerbaijan's minister of education Misir Mardanov has met United States Embassy Chargé d'Affaires Adam Sterling to exchange views on educational cooperation between the two countries. Mardanov said various programs on high and secondary education were underway in his country.
He noted six Azerbaijani citizens were sent to the United States to get education as part of a 2007-2015 State Program on education of the Azerbaijani youth abroad. Sterling, in turn, expressed confidence the Azerbaijan-U.S. educational cooperation would further expand.
