The Embassy of Libya in Azerbaijan has hosted an official reception to mark the country's national holiday- Revolution Day on Friday.
Opening the event, ambassador Saad Mustafa Mujbir briefed on the revolution’s history. He praised Azerbaijan-Libya relationship and expressed hope that cooperation between the two countries would continue to develop.
Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population of Azerbaijan (MLSPP) Fuzuli Alakbarov congratulated the Libyan people on behalf of president Ilham Aliyev. He said relations between Azerbaijan and Libya were deeply rooted.
Alakbarov noted president Ilham Aliyev attaches special importance to development of Azerbaijan-Libya ties. He also expressed confidence that bilateral cooperation would further strengthen. The reception was attended by officials, MPs, ambassadors to Azerbaijan and representatives of general public.
