Vice-speaker of Azerbaijan Parliament (Milli Majlis) Bahar Muradova met with visiting vice-president of the OSCE PA, head of the pre-election observation mission of the organization Wolfgang Grossruck.

Muradova highly praised relations between Azerbaijan and the OSCE PA, saying “along with economic development, Azerbaijani government pays a particular attention to strengthening of democracy in the country”.

She also provided information on the upcoming parliamentary elections in the country.
Touching upon Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, Muradova stressed Azerbaijan is unable to conduct elections across the whole territory since Armenia occupied more than 20% of the country`s lands.

She said international organization must step up efforts to put an end to Armenian aggression.
Grossruck, in turn, highly praised Azerbaijan-OSCE relations, as well as Azerbaijan rapid development.

Grossruck expressed confidence that November 7 parliamentary election will be free and fair.
