Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan and the Council of Europe Venice Commission started trainings for the electoral district commission trainers.
CEC Secretary Natig Mammadov said at the opening ceremony that two official from every district commission were attended the trainings. Totally 250 people will attend the trainings which will last five days.
Special Representative of the Council of Europe Secretary General Veronika Kotek also addressed the ceremony. She emphasized the importance of the trainings and said it was organized within the cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Council of Europe.
The trainings will cover lectures about the presentation skills and organizing methods, format of the trainings in the polling station commission on the election day and other subjects. CEC trainers and experts of the Venice Commission were involved in the trainings.
