Chairman of Azerbaijan State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev has received delegation led by Reinhold Lopatka, State Secretary at the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance.
Aliyev spoke about the history of customs service in Azerbaijan.
He said the two countries have real potential to increase trade turnover.
"We collaborate with Austria in the some spheres, includes customs sphere. Austria has great experience in custom sphere and Azerbnaijan intends to benefit from this."
In his turn, Lopatka noted that they would collaborate with Azerbaijan in using service dogs in customs sphere. “We have also experience in ecology, health, tourism and other spheres and we can share these experience with Azerbaijan.”
Aliyev and Lopatka signed a memorandum of understanding on fight against customs offenses.
