Austrian newly appointed ambassador to Baku Sylvia Meier-Kajbic visited the Azerbaijan University of Languages on June 9.
Rector of the University, MP Samad Seyidov touched on existing relations between the universities of the two countries. He gave full information on the Austria center at the University, which allows students to learn Austrian culture, history and language.
Seyidov stressed the importance for cooperation in various fields, including science and education. Silvia Mayer-Kaibic stressed the importance for all-round relations, including the educational ones. She also expressed hope for development of cultural and scientific ties, adding “the opening of Austrian Library in the University will give a push to development of these ties”.
