President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory message to Syrian counterpart Bashar al-Assad on the country's Evacuation Day.
In the letter, the President expressed hope that “we will continue mutual efforts towards strengthening traditional friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Syria and all-round development of our cooperation.”
President Ilham Aliyev wished the Syrian leader “strong health” and successes in his activities, and “the friendly people of Syria peace and prosperity”.
