President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received outgoing UN Resident Coordinator in the country Bruno Pouezat.

The President praised Pouezat`s activity in Azerbaijan, saying he contributed to “successfully continuing” the cooperation between the country and the organization.

President Ilham Aliyev said: “Over the last few years Azerbaijan`s government has been implementing important projects in collaboration with international organizations, including the United Nations.”
The UN Resident Coordinator praised the Azerbaijani leader`s role in “ensuring successes which we have achieved”.

Pouezat thanked the President and government of Azerbaijan for the support shown to him during his tenure.

The UN Resident Coordinator said: “It was a great honor for me to be a witness and part of important events which took place in Azerbaijan during my tenure.”
