Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev cast his ballot in country's municipal elections today.
The head of state voted in the polling station No. 6 of the Baku Sabayel Election Constituency No. 29.
First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva also voted together with the president.
A total of 15,682 seats in 1,718 municipalities are being contested.
Previous municipal elections were held in 1999 and 2004.
