New U.S. co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Robert Bradtke will visit Azerbaijan by end of September, Head of the U.S. Embassy Public Relations Office Terry Davidson told reporters.
“Many well-known diplomats highly appreciate Bradtke whose experience will play a positive role in peaceful and just settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh problem between Azerbaijan and Armenia,” Davidson said.
As to appointment of a new U.S. ambassador to Azerbaijan, Davidson said new ambassador will be announced after President Barack Obama nominates his candidate.
