"Turkey raises its importance in the region through economic projects."
Turkey raises its significance in the region through economic projects it has signed, Turkish Prime-Minister Rejeb Tayyib Erdogan said at a meeting of the ruling party, CNN Turk reported.
Erdogan said the Nabucco project and the Russia-Turkey energy agreement are important economical steps for the region, including Turkey.
