Azerbaijani parliament’s working groups cooperate with legislative bodies of 73 countries.
Parliament’s vice speaker Bahar Muradova said.
“Friendship groups that cooperate with 73 countries around the world play a great role in development of inter-parliamentary ties. These groups are of great importance in legislation building and exchange of information,” Muradova said.
She said currently Azerbaijani parliament is a full member of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, PACE, CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly, OSCE PA, BSEC PA, OIC PA, Turkic PA, GUAM PA and associate member of the NATO PA.
“The parliament works closely with the European Parliament and other authoritative international organizations. Our members of parliament consistently take an active part in the work of these organizations and bring to the attention of world public the truth about the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,” she said.
