During the visit to Poland, Ali Ahmedov, vice-chairman and executive secretary of the Yeni Azerbaijan party, held a number of meetings, reports Day.Az with reference to the press service of the party.
In particular, meetings were held with a representative of the Office of the President of Poland, the Deputy Secretary of State, Minister Mariusz Handzlikom, as well as with the head of the Azeri-Polish inter-parliamentary group Malgorzata Sadurskoy.
Deputy Secretary of State noted at a meeting with Ali Akhmedov that the relations between Azerbaijan and Poland are always in the center of attention of President Ilham Aliyev.
"Polish-Azerbaijani inter-state relations are strategic. Poland always supported the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan is the main supporter and partner of Poland in the region", he said.
At a meeting with the head of the Azeri-Polish inter-parliamentary group Malgorzata Sadurskaya Ali Ahmedov invited the Polish deputies to visit Azerbaijan.
