On April 20-21, Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy and Consulate General of
Azerbaijan in Los Angeles have organized a series of presentations about Azerbaijan at various universities in California, according to Day.Az.
Fariz Ismailzade, Director of Foreign Service Program at Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy presented students and professors at Chapman University, Pepperdine University and University of California at Los Angeles with Azerbaijan's role in Energy Security as well as rapidly
changing geopolitical situation in the South Caucasus Region.
Participants of the presentations were keen to learn more about US-Azerbaijan relations under the nee Obama Administration and the pivotal role that Azerbaijan plays in the global fight against
terrorism. During this visit, Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy built strong cooperation basis with these Universities as well as University of Southern California.
