Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mamedyarov received assistant deputy US Secretary of State Matthew Bryza, who arrived in Baku to attend the energy summit, said spokesman for Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Khazar Ibrahim.
He noted that the meeting participants discussed energy issues, in particular, Azerbaijan's participation in the energy security of Europe.
Moreover, the sides discussed issues of resolution of the Karabakh conflict.
