Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan considers that adoption of the trilateral declaration between him and presidents of Azerbaijan and Russia signifies a start of a new and more active stage of the peaceful resolution of the Karabakh conflict.
"We view the resolution of the Karabakh conflict, ensuring the right of people for self-determination as a basis of settlement of the relations with the other neighbor - Azerbaijan", said Serzh Sargsyan, speaking in front of the representatives of Armenian diaspora of Belgium.
According to the President, Armenia is ready to continue the negotiation process, taking the well-known Madrid principles, adopted last year, as a basis.
