"The announcement of Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan about Azerbaijan's violation of the regulations of the SFE Treaty are not only false but demonstrate Armenia's becoming aware of the weakness of its positions.

This announcement is a repeatedly probed variant of an attempt to shift the blame on others that is accuse Azerbaijan of what Armenia has been doing for long", said chairman of the Democratic Reforms Party, MP Asim Mollazade, commenting on the statement of Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan, made during the meeting with co-chairman of the Commission on Armenian issues of the House of Representatives Joe Nolenberg and commission members in the US Congress.

He said Azerbaijan has recently intensified efforts for informing the world society about the true facts on the origin and results of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno Karabakh, which resulted in occupation of 20% of our lands, and the outcomes of this work are already recorded in Armenia.

"Realizing that the truth about Armenia's being initiator of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, which turned hundreds of thousands of people into refugees and IDP and preserve a fifth part of our lands under Armenian occupation, Armenian authorities make such statements.

Anyone but Armenia can make such statements about some violations of CFE Treaty regulations by Azerbaijan, for everyone knows well that live force and military technique, changing balance of powers in the South Caucasus, are dislocated in Nagorno Karabakh, occupied by Armenia.

Naturally, representatives of official Yerevan leave this detail out in the talks with various high ranking western diplomats. Instead, they try to take advantage from misleading the world society", resumed Mollazade.
