The criminal case launched against President's Office ex-Administrative Office chief Akif Muradverdiyev ended in Court of Grievous Crimes.

The court headed by Judge Tofig Pashyev sentenced him to six years in jail, APA reports.

Muradverdiyev said that he is partly guilty of the crime during last hearing. Muradverdiyev was convicted in the Article 179.3.2 (embezzlement), 308.2 (abuse of power), 311 (bribery), 313 (fraud) of Criminal Code.

But the investigation of criminal case convicted in the Article 28. 278 (staging coup) and 28.220 (coup attempt) is underway.
