Central Election Committee (CEC) Chairman Mazahir Panahov left for Budapest.
Mazahir Panahov and International department chief Rovzat Gasimli will participate in the conference on April 7-10 in Budapest at the invitation of Central and Eastern Europe Election Officials Association, press service of the organization has told APA.
Cooperation perspectives of CEC will be discussed with the leader of Association Zoltan Totla within the framework of the visit.
The objective of the association is improvement of democratic processes and election system. The organization has been functioning since 2001.
Mr.Panahov and Gasimli will observe the parliamentary elections on April 9 in Hungary as well.
