“I cannot make statement about the content of the negotiations on the status of the Caspian Sea, because the details of the talks are never announced but I can say that the mutual understanding is improving every time”.
APA was told by Iranian extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador in Azerbaijan Afshar Suleymani. He called Special representative of Iranian President on Caspian issues Mehdi Safari’s visit to Azerbaijan to be efficient.
According to him, Mehdi Safari held consultations on the legal status of the Caspian Sea and exchanged opinion on various spheres of interstates relations during his talks held in Baku.
