The danger of the loss of Karabakh forever has been realizing. International organizations, using the complicated pre-election situation in the country, increase pressure on the public and authorities of Azerbaijan aimed at the forcing to make serious surrenders.

These ideas have been reflected in the appeal of the Organization for Karabakh Liberation (KLO), Trend reports. A special rapporteur of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on the Nagorno Karabakh, Goran Lenmarker announced openly the possible annexing of the Nagorno Karabakh to Armenia.

The CE Secretary General noted that in case of commencement the military liberation of the occupied territories by Azerbaijan, the country might be expelled from the CE.

The KLO appeal says that some officials in the face of the actual threat try to avert the people’s discontent. The organization considers, that the activities of the international institutions, the OSCE Minsk Group, contradicting the national interests of Azerbaijan, must be put an end immediately. The pressure on the Azerbaijan’s government must be terminated. International organizations must recognize Armenia as aggressor state, apply sanctions against it and withdraw the occupational forces from the territories of Azerbaijan.

The KLO states, that the talks on holding any referendums in Karabakh must be immediately stopped. No one can give them the status unilaterally. After returning 200,000 Azerbaijanis driven out from Armenia and giving them relevant status, the similar may be applied to the Armenians of the Nagorno Karabakh.

The KLO considers it also inadmissible placing of peacekeeping forces in Nagorno Karabakh and the adjoining territories. Therefore, for non-admission of the aggressive actions from the part of Armenia, the peacekeeping forces must be stationed on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border.
