The "hotline" created by the Azerbaijan Press Council in connection with the referendum, hasn’t received any complaints from the media until 16:00 , the Council reported on September 26.

Members of the Board in district elections in the capital and regions indicate that media representatives are covering the process of voting without any obstacle, adding that they also got acquainted with the conditions created for journalists.

Contacts of “hot line” 012 441 35 30 or 055 201 99 26 are active from 08.00 until 19.00, the Council reported.  

The referendum to amend Azerbaijan’s Constitution is being observed by 117 observers from 18 international organizations

The CEC reported that there are representatives of parliaments of the UK, France, Austria, Australia, Turkey, PACE (Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe), Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS, TURKPA, heads of election commissions of various countries among them.

The referendum to make amendments to Azerbaijan’s Constitution kicked off at 08:00 and will wrap up at 19:00 (UTC/GMT +4).

 The CEC said that the number of voters in Azerbaijan stands at 5,267,111 people.

Meanwhile, the turnout at the nationwide vote in Azerbaijan stood at 53.8 percent as of 15:00.

The voting will wrap up at 19:00 (UTC/GMT +4). Final results of the nationwide vote will be announced until October 21.
