A group of employees from the Electronic Security Center under Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Communications and High Technologies (MCHT) visited the Cyber Security Center of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia on July 7-18.

The delegation, led by director of the Electronic Security Center Faig Farmanov, met with representatives of Data Exchange Agency of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia. The aim of the visit was to develop cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan in the field of cyber security and exchange of experience.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the possibilities of mutual cooperation in the field of improving cyber security in the region. Besides, the Azerbaijani delegation familiarized themselves with the legislative and regulatory acts of Georgia in the field of cyber security.

According to the director of Electronic Security Center Faig Farmanov, in general the meeting was fruitful for Azerbaijan in terms of enhancing international cooperation in the field of cyber security.
