Russia will complete delivery of helicopters ordered by Azerbaijan till the end of 2015, APA reports quoting Russian Helicopters Company.
The company implements delivery of the helicopters through Rosoboroneksport State Concern under the schedule. All of 24 Mi-35M helicopters and a part of Mi-17 helicopters have already been handed over to Azerbaijan.
For the present, delivery of Mi-17 helicopters is underway. The contract on these helicopters will end next year.
Azerbaijani side expressed its interest in Ka-52 Alligator helicopters two years ago. The sides are negotiating on these helicopters.
In 2010, Azerbaijan and Russia signed an agreement on sale and purchase of 24 Mi-35M and 40 Mi-8, Mi-17 and Mi17V1 helicopters.
