President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by General Director of Border Guard of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Zamim Al-Sawwat.
Saying that relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were developing successfully, the head of state stressed the importance of friendly ties between the two countries.
Noting that the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had excellent political dialogue, President Ilham Aliyev hailed the bilateral cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
The head of state stressed the importance of developing cooperation between border guard services, expressing confidence that joint activities, and exchange of experience and information in this area will contribute to strengthening security of the two countries.
General Director of Border Guard of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Zamim Al-Sawwat recalled with satisfaction his last year visit to Azerbaijan.
Zamim Al-Sawwat said they were discussing with their Azerbaijani counterparts the issues of development of cooperation.
