Hungary is going to simplify the procedure for issuing visas to Azerbaijani citizens, Hungarian State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations Peter Szijjarto has told journalists in Baku.
He underlined that Hungary intends outsourcing the work of processing visa applications and issuing visas, too.
“In a short period of time, these operations will be conducted not only by the embassy, but also the companies,” Szijjarto said.
The establishment of direct flights between Baku and Budapest made a great contribution to developing business relations between the two countries, particularly in the tourism sector, he noted.
Szijjarto also said that Azerbaijan and Hungary are drawing up a number of agreements in the field of air transport.
