Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov visited Ganja on January 10, the ministry reported.
A delegation headed by the minister acquainted with the condition of logistical supply of the military units, as well as supply with ammunition, the ongoing construction works, social and living conditions of the personnel.
Ganja is the second largest city of Azerbaijan, and located on the west of the country in 345 kilometers from Baku.
Hasanov began his visits to the frontline military units, following his appointment to the post of the defense minister in late 2012.
He visited military units in different regions of the country and gave the tasks on strengthening the combat readiness and discipline, as well as improvement of the social conditions of the servicemen.
