Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov has received Australian ambassador Ian Biggs in connection with completion of his activities, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said on Jan.8.
The deputy minister thanked the ambassador for his contribution to the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Australia, wished him success in his future activity.
In turn, the ambassador expressed confidence in the further development of relations between the two countries.
During the meeting the development of bilateral relations, regional and international issues, as well as the issues of cooperation within international organizations were discussed.
