Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry condemned the terror attacks that took place in the Russian city of Volgograd.

"The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry strongly condemns the terrorist attacks in Volgograd that led to deaths of citizens, and expresses condolences to relatives and friends of the killed persons, and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured," according to the ministry's statement.

Azerbaijan, as a country that has suffered from terrorism, condemns all its forms and manifestations, the ministry said.

Two explosions on Dec. 29 and Dec. 30 in Volgograd killed 32 people, ITAR-TASS reported citing the Russian Deputy Emergency Situations Minister Vladimir Stepanov.

"104 people were injured as a result of two explosions in Volgograd, 32 of them were killed," he told journalists.
