Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov met with Turkish counterpart Ismet Yilmaz, Turkish news agency Anadolu reported on Tuesday.
Turkish President Abdullah Gul received Hasanov, according to the agency.
The agency reported that during the meeting, Yilmaz said that the cooperation between the two countries will bring stability in the region.
Both sides must strengthen cooperation to achieve peace and stability in the region, Yilmaz said.
