A group of U.S. congressmen including Mrs. Sheila Jackson Lee, Luke Messer, Ted Poe, Robert Aderholt, James Moran, Pete P. Gallego, Michelle Lujan Grisham, and Ruben Hinojosa have sent a congratulatory letter to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on his birthday.
The letter reads: “Dear President Aliyev, We are writing to offer our sincere congratulations and best wishes to you on your birthday! Your personal commitment and contribution to the strategic partnership between the United States and Azerbaijan are greatly appreciated. Our two nations are tested allies and our friendship has become even stronger under your leadership.
