Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili is expected to pay a visit to Azerbaijan next week, a diplomatic source told Trend Agency on December 20.
This will be Margvelashvili's first visit to Azerbaijan after his election as the president of Georgia.
During the visit, prospects of bilateral and regional cooperation are planned to be discussed.
Margvelashvili won presidential elections held on October 27, replacing Mikheil Saakshvili on the post.
