President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received credentials of new head of the EU Delegation to the country Malena Mard.

The Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan passed along a ceremonial guard of honor.
President Ilham Aliyev had a conversation with Mrs Malena Mard.

The Head of State hailed development of the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union.

President Ilham Aliyev praised the Azerbaijan-EU cooperation, and expressed hope that these ties would continue to expand even further.

The Head of State stressed the importance of exploring opportunities for the strengthening of the partnership relationship between the country and the organization, and expressed confidence that these ties would become more active during Malena Mard`s tenure.

Mrs Malena Mard noted the significance of the mutual interest for expanding relations between Azerbaijan and the EU.

The Head of the EU delegation also noted the importance of a ceremony to sign final investment document on Shahdeniz-2 in Baku on December 17.

Mrs Malena Mard said Azerbaijan and the European Union maintained strong cooperative relations.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met a Croatian delegation led by Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic.

Croatian Premier Zoran Milanovic praised the ongoing development processes in Azerbaijan.

They said there were ample opportunities to enhance the Azerbaijan-Croatia cooperation.
The President and the PM stressed the importance of the activities of the Croatian companies in Azerbaijan in terms of expanding bonds between the two countries.

President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic noted the significance of a ceremony to sign final investment document on Shahdeniz-2 in Baku on December 17.

They also discussed how to develop the Azerbaijan-Croatia cooperation in a variety of fields, as well as the settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received Georgia`s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.

They hailed development of the bilateral relations in political, economic and other fields, as well as noted the importance of global economic projects implemented jointly Azerbaijan and Georgia. They also stressed the significance of a ceremony to sign final investment document on Shahdeniz-2 in Baku on December 17 in terms of expansion of the bilateral relationship.

President Ilham Aliyev and Premier Irakli Garibashvili also pointed out that the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project was successfully implemented, and exchanged views on prospects for energy cooperation.

The President and the Prime Minister expressed confidence that the friendly relations between the two countries would further be strengthened.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met Montenegrin counterpart Filip Vujanovic.
The Montenegrin President congratulated the Head of State on his re-election as President of Azerbaijan.

The Azerbaijani leader also congratulated Filip Vujanovic on his re-election as Montenegrin President.

They noted bilateral bonds between the two countries had been developing successfully, stressing the importance of the joint projects.

The presidents also noted the significance of a ceremony to sign final investment document on Shahdeniz-2 in Baku on December 17.

They also underlined the importance of this project for the countries and the region.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Ambassador of the Czech Republic Radek Matula, who completed his diplomatic mission in the country.

The Head of State said that the Azerbaijan-Czechia relations had been developing successfully. President Ilham Aliyev stressed the significance of high-level reciprocal visits in expanding bilateral ties between the two countries. Hailing the contribution of Radek Matula to strengthening the Azerbaijani-Czechia ties, the Azerbaijani President wished him successes in his future activities.

Touching upon his diplomatic activity in Azerbaijan, Radek Matula stressed the importance of the opening of the Czech embassy in Azerbaijan, the visits of the Czech Prime Minister and the Chairman of Senate to Baku, as well as other events in terms of expansion of bonds between the two countries.
