A joint declaration will be signed following the next meeting of foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Iran, Iranian ambassador to Turkey, Ali Reza Bigdeli told Trend on Dec. 11.

He said the declaration will be prepared by a working group consisting of representatives of the three countries.

"Workgroups of three countries have already been created, as well as workgroups on energy, economy and trade, which will meet before the meeting of the ministers, are currently active. They will prepare a declaration to be adopted at a meeting of foreign ministers," the ambassador said.

Bigdeli went on to say that, before the meeting, to be held in the Turkish province of Gumushhane, the foreign ministers of Turkey and Iran, Mohammad Javad Zarif and Ahmet Davutoglu will also meet at the D-8 (Islamic Eight) meeting, which will be held on December 19 in Pakistan.

The last trilateral meeting of foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Iran was held in Nakhchivan and resulted in the adoption of the final declaration.

The next meeting of foreign ministers of the three countries is scheduled to be held in late December.
