President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today visited the country`s Mingachevir city where he attended the opening of several infrastructure facilities.
President Ilham Aliyev put flowers at a monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev in front of the newly constructed Heydar Aliyev Center.
The Azerbaijani leader then participated in the opening of the Heydar Aliyev Center.
Head of the Mingachevir City Executive Authorities Niyazi Bayramov informed President Ilham Aliyev that the construction of the Center started in August, 2008. The facility occupies a total area of 6,000 square meters.
The President viewed the Center`s 570-seat auditorium.
President Ilham Aliyev also met local residents.

President Ilham Aliyev inspected the reconstruction work at the Friendship park named after Mushfig Mirzayev.
The facility covers a total area of 6 hectares. The park has a modern lighting system, and a fountain.

The Azerbaijani President inaugurated Youth House.
Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sport Azad Rahimov informed the Head of State about the facility. The three-storey building of Youth House occupies a total area of 1,000 square meters.
The Minister said the facility was one of the biggest youth houses in Azerbaijan.

Then, the Head of State inspected the reconstruction work at the Sahil park.
President Ilham Aliyev was informed that the facility covers a total area of 3,000 square meters.

As part of his Mingachevir visit, President Ilham Aliyev viewed a redeveloped riverside recreation center.
The Head of State was told the center occupies a total area of 1.5 hectares.

Then President Ilham Aliyev viewed models of the Ministry of Emergency Situations`s Special Risk Rescue Service, Civil Defense Force Regiment and State Agency for Water Resources.

President Ilham viewed integrated security system of the Mingachevir reservoir.
Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov informed the Head of State about guard and security systems here.
President Ilham Aliyev viewed a model of the security system of the Mingachevir reservoir.

President Ilham Aliyev then toured a residential area for 502 IDP families in Mingachevir.
Deputy Prime Minister, chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov told the Head of State that all conditions had been created here.
The Head of State visited the house of Aghdam IDP Saida Ibrahimova who thanked the President for good conditions created for IDPs.
The residential area has a club-community center, an administrative building, a first aid station and a post office.
President Ilham Aliyev also visited a 480-seat Aghdam secondary school No 52.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening ceremony of Gubaly-Baloglan-Pir Huseyn motor-road in Hajigabul District.
The head of state was informed on the parameters of the road, other redevelopment works along the roads.
Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov briefed President Ilham Aliyev on the construction of the Gubaly-Baloglan-Pir Huseyn road which will provide comfort not only for inhabitants but also for visitors of Xanagahi Historical-Architectural Reserve.
The Head of State also was informed on improvement of new road projects and reconstruction works as well as Haj?gabul-Pashali-Tagili motor-road by Head of the Hajiqabul Executive Power Ahmed Mukhtarov.

Within the visit to Hajigabul District on April 15, President Ilham Aliyev participated at the inauguration of the Ceramic Slab Plant at the Gilan Ceramics Park here./
As was informed, the Plant is an only such enterprise in the South Caucasus and Northern Caucasus, as well as in Central Asia. Construction of the 27-ha area Plant started in 2009. The installation works were carried by “Sajmi” Company of Italy. The devices allow producing high level standard products. The Plant’s products will also be exported in the near future.
Two dining rooms will serve the staff of the Plant with also includes a modern 80-seat inn and administrative department, a conference hall, a 2-storey exhibition hall, warehouses, sports ground and other necessary facilities
The Plant with total 19, 7 thousand sqm area will produce competitive products both for domestic and export.
The President set the enterprise in motion.
The head of state was informed that over AZN40 mln were invested in construction of the Plant, the raw materials of which will also be brought from Turkey and Ukraine.
The enterprise employs over 500 people.
President of Azerbaijan was informed that another facility – new ceramic-magnetic plant will be built in the area.
The head of state praised the works done here and gave certain instructions.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev reviewed overhauled and reconstructed N military unit in Hajigabul District yesterday.
Minister of Internal affairs, colonel-general Ramil Usubov reported to the President of Azerbaijan and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev.
The Head of the State was informed that the process of army building started by the National Leader of Azerbaijan and successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev made Azerbaijan`s
army the most powerful in the region.
The last 10 years have been an important period of the organization and management of the activity of Interior Troops, improvement of living conditions of the staff.
The soldiers of Interior Troops who is protecting the interests of society and the state, as well as the public order have successfully coped with their duties during the past years.
The Head of the State also got familiarized with the reconstruction project and model of the military unit of the Interior Troops.
The President was informed that important work is being done to improve the material and technical base of the Interior Troops. The condition made in the military unit is a good example for it.
President Ilham Aliyev also toured the territory of the military unit and got familiarized with reconstructed Dormitory Apartments for 70 officers and soldiers.

President Aliyev took part at the ceremony of inauguration of the drinking water pipeline, viewed the stands with the photos of the Shirvan-Mugan water pipeline technical parameters, after which the head of state met with the public of Hajigabul District.
The Head of State was told that through one of the Kur-Baku pipelines water was supplied to Hajigabul, Shirvan, Neftchala and Bilasuvar cities as well as 121 villages. The launch of the Shirvan-Mughan group pipeline ensured the continuous supply of quality drinking water to a total of 470,000 people.
Speaker at the event, Hafiz Bashirov on behalf of Hajigabul district`s people thanked the President for his care and attention.

The head of state honoured national leader Heydar Aliyev’s monument and laid flowers, inspected the photo stand at the Heydar Aliyev Center, toured the park developed in the front of the Centre.
As was informed, the Centre functions since 2008. After reconstruction works last year, the Centre’s area reached 1172 sqm. The Centre now rooms an exposition hall, photo, folklore and drawing studios, e-library, foreign languages study, conference and cinema halls. Here, the youth study Heydar Aliyev’s political heritage.
The Center has rich photo archive reflecting the national leader’s visits to the District, his meetings with local public. E-library includes update technology for access to electronic catalogue and bibliographic data, legislative resources and periodic media.
President of Azerbaijan toured the Heydar Aliyev Park.
The reconstruction works started here in 2011 resulted in refurbishment of the Park with total 1,5 ha area that includes a leisure and rest center, 320-seat summer theatre and café.
Modern lightening system and large greenery makes more attractive the Park.

The head of state honored national leader Heydar Aliyev’s monument and laid flowers, inspected the photo stand at the Heydar Aliyev Center, toured the park developed in the front of the Center.
Within the visit, the President took part at the opening of Renjber-Gubaly-Baloglan-Pir Huseyn motor-road. The head of state was informed on the parameters of the road, other redevelopment works along the roads.
Then, President Aliyev took part at the ceremony of inauguration of the drinking water pipeline, viewed the stands with the photos of the Shirvan-Mugan water pipeline technical parameters, after which the head of state met with the public of Hajigabul District.
Within the visit, the President also got familiarized with the reconstruction works at the N military unit of the Interior Troops.
The same day, President of Azerbaijan inaugurated the ceramic slab plant at the Gilan Ceramics Park in Hajigabul.
