Azerbaijani Ambassador to Tajikistan Abbasali Hasanov met with Tajik defence minister, Lieutenant General Sherali Khayrulloyev to explore prospects of boosting military cooperation. They praised the two countries`s cooperation in military education.
Hasanov highlighted the development of the Azerbaijan Armed Forces, as well as the government’s attention to army building.
He also spoke of Azerbaijan`s internal and foreign policy under President Ilham Aliyev. On the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the ambassador blamed official Yerevan`s unconstructive position for the delay in the settlement of the dispute.
