The fourth plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking states (TurkPA) will be held in Ankara according to the proposal of Jemil Chichek, spokesman for the Turkish government and Turkish Deputy Prime Minister.

His proposal was supported by a solid vote.

He stressed that one of TurkPA's major goals is the friendship of the member states.

Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker Oktay Asadov expressed hope that the organization will become an observer of CIS PA in near future.

The Bishkek Declaration will be the final document of the plenary session.

Following the meeting the parliamentary heads will hold a press conference.

The upcoming meeting of the TurkPA, which consists of four standing committees, will consider the issues of intensifying the inter-parliamentary dialogue, reports on the conducted work will be heard, draft proposals and recommendations on the development of cooperation within TurkPA will be announced.

It is expected to discuss the activities of the TurkPA commissions on international cooperation on social, cultural and humanitarian issues in economics, trade and finance.

TurkPA member states are Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
