Baku "Giz Galasi" gallery opened a joint exhibition of Austrian artists Thomas Cosma and Bena Siegel who showcased their sculptural and graphic works. The exhibition was titled "the Flesh and Bones". The intriguing name finds its reflection on the creative concepts of both artists.

Thomas Cosma and Ben Siegel, students of a school owned by famous sculptor Alfred Hrdlick, reflect the physical reality of a human in their works but approach this theme from different conceptual positions.

Thomas Cosma studies the structure of a human body and is attracted by the archeological materials and artifacts taking the imagination of the artist back to the prehistoric era when mammoths walked on earth.

Ben Siegel, however, is rather attracted by the material reality of a human flesh and is interested in humans with full of diversity, with defects and perfection of body from.

The exhibition of the two artists will run up to December 20.
