The Fourth International Exhibition "Expo Batumi 2011" will be held in Adjara from April 29 to May 1. According to the Adjaran Tourism Agency Head Sopo Nikolaishvili, exhibition halls will be divided along a large space, allowing the exhibition to be open to many more companies.

"This year the exhibition will be significantly larger than before. In 2010 the exhibition stands covered an area of 1,000 square meters. This year tourist companies will be able to showcase their products inside an area of 3,000 square meters," she said.
The initiator of the "Expo Batumi" is the Adjaran Tourism Department. The event organizer is the Adjaran Tourism Agency.

Nikolaishvili said that the exhibition will be attended by many companies. "Turkey will be represented at the exhibition, and Turkish companies will occupy an area of 1,000 square meters. In addition to local and Turkish companies, the exhibition will also be attended by representatives of Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Belarus, Romania, Israel, as well as by Kazakh companies. The exhibition will be attended by those companies that are the target market of Adjara. As pertaining to the travel companies, they will have an opportunity to sign contracts with each other in place and to get acquainted with business proposals," Nikolaishvili said.

"Expo Batumi 2011" will be held with the support of the Adjaran Government and the Batumi Mayor's Office. Adjaran Television will provide general information in support of the event.
