At the Russian Institute of Culturology opened was an exhibition of works of Azerbaijani amateur artists and masters of the national-applied creativity, devoted to the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis.

The exhibition is organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan, the scientific-methodical center on culturology of the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan and the Russian Institute of Culturology.

The opening ceremony was addressed by the director of the Russian Institute of Culturology, Professor Cyril Razlogov who highly assessed similar actions for expansion of cultural dialogue between peoples.

On behalf of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan speaking was the director of the scientific-methodical center on culturology, Professor Vilayat Ismayilov who in detail described the Russian-Azerbaijan contacts in the field of culture. He especially noted that carrying out of a similar exhibition of the Azerbaijani artists on the platform of leading Russian culturological institute is a vivid example of actively developing humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.

Aide to the vice-president of the Russian Philosophical Society for the international affairs, the candidate of philosophical sciences, Ariz Gezalov in his remarks spoke about the importance of such events for dialogue of cultures in the globalized world.

The exhibition features interesting and original works of the Azerbaijani artists which acquaint the Russians with wonderful country, Azerbaijan. And unique works of the Azerbaijani masters display variety of traditions of the national-applied art masters, passing from generation to generation.

The exhibition of the Azerbaijani artists will last till January 15.
