Azerbaijan is promoting its achievements in the information and communication technologies sector at annual CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia exhibition in Istanbul, Turkey.
Azerbaijan`s National Pavilion at the event highlights local ICT projects in addition to ones of regional importance, including the Azeri government-initiated draft Trans-Eurasian Super Information Highway (TASIM) project, which will provide more than 20 countries in the region with high-speed information network.
Azerbaijan`s delegation at the event is headed by minister of communications and information technologies Ali Abbasov.
On the sidelines of the exhibition Abbasov met Turkish transport minister Bineli Yildirim. CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia is the leading ICT industry exhibition in Eurasian Region gathering local and international companies, government bodies, NGO`s and academicians.
