Names of winners of the Azerbaijani International Professional award “Gold disk” have been announced. According to the organizers, the list of nominees has been prepared by the presented to the public in 2008 - 2009 disks and albums.
This way, 16 nominations (out of 37) mention Azerbaijani representatives of culture and art. It should be noted, that this award is objective, since its not being estimated by the calls of the jury, but by the results of the practical and analytical polling data (based on the popularity of the person), and the sold disks.
The organizing committee also has confirmed 10 “Platinum disks” which will be presented the most well-known figures. Among nominees are Arif Babayev, Alim Gasymov, Agakhan Abdullaev, Nazaket Tejmurova, Kenul Khasyeva, Melekhanym Ejjubova and others.
