On June 5-27, Ibrus Theatre will hold a festival of films by a People's artist, a prominent film director and cameraman Rasim Ojagov, the theatre's press service informed.
During the festival his 8 films including "Oh, Istanbul", "The Park", "The Birthday Party", "Tahmina", "Hem Ziyaret, hem Tijaret" will reportedly be displayed.
Note that in 1951-1956 Rasim Ojagov studied at the Photographer's Faculty of the All-Union State Cinematography Institute in Moscow and the Director's Department of Azerbaijan State Art Institute. He worked in "Azerbaijanfilm" Film Studio as a cameraman since 1956, and as a director since 1973. He was awarded a People's artist of the Azerbaijan USSR in 1982, the honored art figure of the Azerbaijan USSR and Chechen-Ingush MSSR in 1967, the USSR State Prize and Azerbaijan USSR State Prize laureates in 1980.
