H3 Collective music band has delighted the audience with jazz music at the International Mugham Center.

The team was created for four years and is still known only in a narrow circle. The organizers of the project set a goal to attract not only eminent bands and musicians, but also talented youth.

The founder of H3 Collective is trumpeter Firudin Hamidov, the group includes pianist Afshin Alizade, drummer Ali Nasib, bass player, electronic keyboard player Nijat Mammadli, saxophonist Jamal Bayramli, flutist Nijat Mammadov.

The musicians improvised  works of famous composers Azer Dadashov and Rafig Babayev, as well as original compositions by the band's soloists Afshin Alizade, Firudin Hamidov, etc.

The concert was timed to the International Jazz Day celebrated annually on April 30.

Declared by UNESCO in 2012, the day raises awareness of the virtues of jazz as an educational tool, and a force for empathy, dialogue and enhanced cooperation among people.

Each year, many countries including Azerbaijan hold jam sessions, jazz concerts and workshops timed to the International Jazz Day.

As part of the celebration, jazz concerts are being held in the International Mugham Center, the Rashid Behbudov State Song Theater from  April 29 to May 4.
