Patricia Kaas will perform at the Heydar Aliyev Palace as part of her world tour-tribute to the great French singer Edith Piaf called "Kaas chante Piaf"("Kaas sings Piaf"), the singer's official website said.

In the "Kaas chante Piaf" project, which focuses on 15 of Edith Piaf's greatest songs, Kaas' emotional voice is commemorating 50 years since the death of Piaf.

The show has an innovative stage design which includes a video installation with a unique light show. Piaf's unedited, extraordinary, and unseen images are the centerpiece of the event.

The show has already been held in the world's most prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall in London, Carnegie Hall in New-York, Olympia in Paris, Operett Theatre in Moscow, and Sejeon Cultural Center in Seoul.

Patricia, who was fond of singing since earlier childhood, became a star with "Mademoiselle chante le blues", a major hit in the 90's. Since then, Kaas has sold over 16 million records worldwide.

One of the most renowned French artists in the world of the 21st century, Kaas is almost constantly on international tours.

She has already performed in Baku in 2008.
