This year, grain crops were planted in 945,000 ha area in Azerbaijan. Of these, 660 thousand are wheat, the rest are barley, deputy minister of agriculture Behram Aliyev said.
To him, if weather is favorable, this year, it will be possible to store up 2.5 mln grain: "Of these, 1.7 mln will be wheat, the rest – barley".
